Qualified personnel should have experience with hardware maintenance and repair in the Technical Service Industry. Must have the required tools and be willing to cover an area with a radius of 50 miles. Specific jobs will entail replacing/installing hardware such as servers, pc’s, laser printers, routers, access points, and POS equipment. Many calls will include TELCO and Network Cabling experience so this is a HUGE PLUS!! CCNA, A+ (hardware) certifications (or equivalent experience) is preferred. Candidates with experience in the VOIP and POS industries are ideal. Also, we are actively seeking technicians to install various Nortel equipment/switches.
Requirements of the Job:
- A+ Certified (Hardware)
- Cell phone
- Network troubleshooting experience
- Internet access
- Reliable vehicle
- Proper attire
- General PC Tool Kit
- Laptop w/wireless capabilities
- USB keyboard
- Flash Drive
- Computer service experience supporting and providing diagnostics
- Knowledge of PC equipment and related peripherals
- Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols, cabling, installation and servicing
- Personal skills: organized, attentive to detail, personable, ethical, polite professional demeanor, self-starter, team player and enthusiastic
Compensation:
Pay starts at $30 an hour. Amount of hours available depends on the service call volume in your area and your reliability to take and complete calls satisfactorily.
